Voting is the most fundamental pillar of our democracy.

Without our right to vote, we cannot elect a government that represents us and our ideals.

Josh believes that the state of North Carolina should be about protecting people’s right to vote, not restricting it. That’s why he successfully opposed an effort to reinstate North Carolina’s anti-voter law that a panel of federal judges unanimously declared had targeted African-Americans with “almost surgical precision.”

Josh knows how critical voting rights are to the functioning of our democracy, and he has worked since day one to ensure that every person’s voice is heard.
