These weapons of war have been used to commit some of the most heinous mass shootings in our country’s history: in Newton, in Las Vegas, in Parkland. It’s because they’re designed to kill as many people as possible, as quickly as possible. It is far past the time to ban these weapons from our streets and finally save lives.

What’s stopping us? The NRA and their cronies in Congress have spent years stopping legislation to ban assault weapons and profiting off of our country’s destruction, but with gun violence prevention champions in office, we finally have the chance to overcome the gun lobby’s deadly agenda.
