Hi John,

Last campaign, local media outright ignored me.

Can you give $11 now to help me overcome media bias by creating media of my own?

One paper wrote an article about a guy who was thinking about running against my opponent Derek Kilmer. Then they wrote an article about how he was no longer thinking about running. Yet they never wrote anything about me: the woman who was actually running against Kilmer...for 13 months.

Another paper printed a list of every local race and candidate for voters — except mine. Literally. In this “informational” piece, they listed every local race except WA’s 6th District congressional race.

It took a national newspaper — The Intercept, founded by Pulitzer Prize winner Glenn Greenwald — to report on Kilmer’s signing of a letter supporting cuts to Social Security.

WA’s 6th District has the highest number of seniors and of people on Social Security of any congressional district in the state.

So wouldn’t it have behooved voters to know which candidate supported cutting Social Security and which supported expanding Social Security (me)?

This is the kind of obstruction you get as a candidate challenging an establishment incumbent. A Chevron-funded incumbent sitting on $2.9 million in cash.

To beat this obstruction, I need money to create my own media: mailers, radio ads, TV ads, and more.

I need to start raising this now, because when your average donation is $36 like mine, it takes a long time to build up the money you need to compete against a Chevron Democrat.

Please chip in $11 now, because I need your help to beat the establishment’s obstruction:

Thank you,
