Dear John,

Less than a week to go.

It’s crunch time.

The Prime Minister must comply with the law and ask for an extension by October 19. Boris Johnson will meet with EU leaders on Thursday, and he claims to be making progress on a deal.

But I don’t trust him. Tell your MP what you think.

He hasn’t got the numbers in parliament and he hasn’t got the support of the EU. His Queen’s Speech today was full of more empty promises and divisive sentiment.

If Johnson doesn’t have a deal by Saturday, he must ask for an extension. But he’s still in denial and full of bluster. His whole Brexit strategy is a house of cards that will soon crumble. He’s gambling with our futures.

Tell your MP to prevent Johnson from dragging us over the no deal cliff edge. Don’t let your voice go unheard.

A no deal Brexit would spell disaster for our businesses, our communities and our country. This will harm the most vulnerable in our society, but we will all feel the squeeze of a no deal. It’s up to us to make sure this doesn’t happen.

And worst of all, our Home Secretary thinks it’s funny. Priti Patel and the rest of the Government won’t suffer the consequences of a no deal. We will. It’s simply a political game to them.

The people must stand up for what the Government won’t, for our future prosperity and for unity. I believe that if we work together and make our voices heard, we can overcome anything.

Best wishes,

Naomi Smith

P.S. Time is running out, fast. Johnson claims he can get a withdrawal agreement through parliament before the 31 October deadline. But we know he’s lied before. Our MPs must act to prevent a no deal and extend Article 50.
