Instead of spending her time courting wealthy donors or corporations looking to buy D.C. influence, Ayanna relies on small-dollar donations of $5, $10, or $19.61 — from emails like this one — to help her stay focused on fighting for us.
But to be transparent: The summer months are a hard time for campaigns like ours to raise the critical resources we need to power the fight.
We rely 100% on grassroots donations, because that’s the best way to build a coalition of people who are invested in our movement and will fight alongside Ayanna to make progress for all of our communities.
Ayanna will never stop fighting to advance racial, social, economic, and environmental justice for all of our communities. And we can’t stop fighting either.
