Fort Bliss Whistleblower Report:
Poor Care of Immigrant Children in US Custody
We need your help publicizing this Fort Bliss Whistleblower Report - and drawing attention to the conditions in this shelter for unaccompanied minors.
There are currently over 20,000 unaccompanied minors in shelters in the custody of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. These facilities are often outsourced by the federal government to organizations with little to no experience in child or teenage care.
Even though this Fort Bliss Whistleblower Report is troublesome, please read it in its entirety so that you have a better sense of the poor standards of care that are happening right now at the Fort Bliss (Texas) shelter - right here on US soil. We have no reason to think that the other US government-managed shelters for unaccompanied minors are any better-managed than this one.
