We’ll keep this short — today is the last day of our filing period, meaning that we’re legally required to disclose the amount of money Alessandra’s campaign has raised over the past several weeks.
We want to be able to post good fundraising numbers, because future political opponents will use that to gauge the strength of our movement.
So we're reaching out to supporters like you to ask for your first contribution to our campaign before midnight so we can hit our goal of $12,000. We still have over $5,000 left to go, so we are hoping for lots and lots of individual donations, especially from first-time contributors like you.
We are excited to share a number of new initiatives we've been hard at work on in the next few weeks, all of which require campaign funds.
