Friend,
When my team and I sat down to plan for my first term in Congress at the beginning of 2019, we established that empowering women and girls should be woven through all of our work.
And in just over two years in office, I've supported the Women’s Health Protection Act, voted against efforts to defund Planned Parenthood, wrote and passed the bill that provided 12-week parental leave for federal employees, and – just recently – introduced the critical Support UNFPA Funding Act, which has well over 100 bipartisan co-sponsors and would renew and enable family planning services for women around the world.
But despite the urgency of this critical work, far-right extremists have waged unrelenting attacks to roll back decades of progress in women's health policy right here in the United States. They're hurting hardworking families all across the nation.
I will never let up on my work to defend and promote the rights of women and girls across America and across the globe. Because I believe a woman's decisions about her body are deeply personal – they should not be decided by politicians. But I can't do this work alone. So please, if you agree that reproductive freedom is a fundamental right, let me know now:
Should we protect women's health and reproductive freedoms?

Thanks for weighing in. There's work to be done,
Chrissy
