This session, we passed the SLEEP Act to crack down on loud vehicles terrorizing our communities, closed a judge-made loophole that allowed employers to get away with wage theft, extended death benefit protections for public workers stricken by COVID-19, protected workers from sexual harassment and workplace retaliation, and introduced groundbreaking legislation to regulate the ever-growing data economy, improve vehicle-safety ratings, and achieve a New Deal for CUNY.
Looking to the future, I will work hand-in-hand with our new leaders in city government to make sure that New York City’s recovery is both full and just in every possible way.
If you’re proud of what we’ve done, and are excited about what we will continue to do, I hope you’ll consider donating. Can you contribute right now to ensure that our vision for a better New York becomes a reality?
