John,
Wall Street is already gearing up to spend millions of dollars to stop progressives from winning elections across the country.
That’s why within the last few months, three of Wall Streets’ favorite House Democrats came together to form Team Blue PAC, a corporate front group that will be used to defend corporate democratic incumbents against progressive democratic challengers. In fact, they've already started protecting Wall Street Democrat Steny Hoyer from his progressive primary challenger and DFA-endorsed candidate McKayla Wilkes.
Let’s be clear, after two election cycles of corporate Democratic incumbants losing to progressive challengers, from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley in 2018 to Jamaal Bowman, Marie Newman and Cori Bush in 2020, Team Blue PAC was formed to stop the next AOC.
Team Blue PAC is already raising money on Wall Street to stop us from electing the next AOC. Can you donate $5 or more right now so we can show them the power of the progressive movement?

Here is the part that reveals this as a Wall Street-led assault on progressives: during the 2020 elections, the founders of Team Blue, Hakeem Jeffries, Josh Gottheimer, and Terri Sewell, were some of the top recipients of corporate PAC money among House Democrats.
Sewell herself raised $1.6 million from corporate PACs, and Jeffries and Gottheimer both raised over $1.3 million.
And with Gottheimer currently serving as a co-chair of the moderate Problem Solvers Caucus, and Sewell serving as Vice-Chair for Outreach of the centrist New Democrat Coalition, their intentions are clear.
At DFA, we strongly believe that primaries matter -- and will be pivotal to the future of the Democratic Party. Chip in $5 or more now to show Team Blue PAC that the progressive movement will not back down.

From 2006 to 2021, DFA has a long track record of helping progressive candidates win their primaries even in the face of establishment opposition and this isn't the first time that establishment Democrats have tried to stop the movement progressives are building.
In 2018, following the work DFA members put in to help elect AOC and Ayanna Pressley, the DCCC instituted a blacklist on consultants and political groups that support challengers against incumbents.
While we can't stop corporate Democrats like Josh Gottheimer, Team Blue Pac, or the DCCC from challenging progressive power, we can show the DC establishment that a progressive message targeted at young people, people of color, and working families is how you win in 2021.
Thank you for helping progessives take on the establishment and win.
