Save Our Sharks - Fin Launches July 13 on discovery+

Dear Friends,

Over 100 million sharks are killed every year. Roughly 1,000 sharks will die in the time it takes you to read this email. A healthy ocean needs sharks, but unsustainable fishing practices are killing off these animals, which have existed since before the age of the dinosaurs, more rapidly than they can reproduce. The sharks urgently need our help.

Award-winning filmmaker Eli Roth draws attention to the urgent plight of sharks worldwide in the bold new documentary Fin, which premieres on July 13 on discovery+ and will be featured as a part of Discovery’s Shark Week programming.

The film, directed by Roth and executive produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, Nina Dobrev, and Michael Muller, features exclusive footage from Sea Shepherd’s anti-IUU fishing campaigns in West Africa.

In honor of the film’s launch, Sea Shepherd will be featuring shark content on our social media channels over the next week. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for all the latest updates!

You can help Sea Shepherd remain on the front lines and continue to fight for sharks by joining our Monthly Giving Program.
