Zero, folks.
That’s the number of Senate Republicans who voted for the American Rescue Plan. As Mitch McConnell said this week:
“Well, it passed on a straight party line vote. Not a single member of my party voted for it. So you’re gonna get a lot more money. I didn’t vote for it. But you’re gonna get a lot more money.”
He’s not wrong. The American Rescue Plan is saving and creating jobs across the country, including in rural Montana through funding to small businesses.
And thanks to the American Rescue Plan, public schools across my state received necessary support to fully re-open our schools as quickly as possible.
On top of that, we were able to secure the necessary resources to support mental health and substance use disorder services in Montana, to ensure folks have the support they need after an extremely challenging year.
Our unemployment rate is going down, and workers, small businesses, and people all over the state are reaping the benefits as our economy gets back on track.
We’re seeing real progress, and we can’t afford to slow down. That’s why it’s so important we defend our 50-50 Senate majority, to ensure folks are getting the support they need — no matter what Mitch McConnell does. Can you chip in now to support our work?

McConnell is already gearing up to take back the Senate, but I know how strong this team is — and I know that together, we can defend our majority and keep fighting for solutions for the American people.
Thanks for being a part of this.
