Dean Jeffrey is worried. The volunteer for Convention of States Wisconsin has seen the Government Accountability Office's financial predictions for our country, and he sounded the alarm at a recent state legislative hearing.
"Our country could easily be bankrupt within three generations," he said. "The predicted debt curves are rising exponentially."
What's worse, we can't trust Congress to do anything about it.
"And yet the silence on this issue in Washington, D.C., is deafening," he warned.
