John, CNN's new 2022 Senate projections are in, and they're declaring that Marco Rubio's seat is one of the ten most likely to flip now that Val Demings has emerged as his challenger.

CNN's newest numbers predict that Sen. Rubio, one of the fascist GOP senators who voted to throw out Trump's impeachment case, has met his match with Florida Rep. Val Demmings.

It's not hard to see why, John. Demings, a Florida Democrat who served as the first Black woman police chief of Orlando, led the first House impeachment trial against Donald Trump and was formerly vetted to serve as Biden's vice president.

She's exactly the kind of leader we need to replace a man who openly sided with a wannabe authoritarian over his own constituents, and the people of Florida know it.

But defeating a GOP incumbent is no easy task, especially one endorsed by Trump. NBC News projects this to be “the most expensive Senate contest of 2022,” and Republicans are already rushing millions to this race now that CNN has sounded the alarm on a possible blue Florida.

We need to ramp up our resources NOW if we're going to keep up with Rubio and finally flip Florida blue -- and we're relying on grassroots donors like you who believe in strengthening our democracy with capable leaders like Demings.
