Donald Trump caused long-lasting harm to America
in many ways, including the normalization of white supremacy in
the Republican party. His success has led others in the GOP to
embrace racism and nationalism.

Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar has spoken at conferences
and was advertised as attending a joint fundraiser with the
leader of a white nationalist group. Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz
appeared at an event that used the Proud Boys as security. And in
my own delegation of Georgia, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was
part of the QAnon conspiracy movement.

This is deeply disturbing to me, and we need to
act against it. As more right-wing extremists enter Congress, I’m
increasingly worried about what they’ll do if they win the
majority.

Will you donate today to stop White Supremacists
in the Congress from taking the majority? If they take control of
the House, the consequences could be disastrous.

Under previous presidents — including Republicans
— white supremacy was condemned. Racist groups still existed, but
they knew they didn’t have the support at the highest levels of
government.

But Trump changed that. White supremacist groups
are excited, even giddy, by Trump and his followers in Congress.
That only empowered them to spread their racist ideology far and
wide.

With more politicians spreading white supremacy
comes higher rates of hate crimes and a culture that harms people
of color. If we allow them to win control of Congress, it will
only get worse.

If you contribute today, you’ll be doing your part
in combating white supremacy in America. I hope you’ll join our
fight.
