I’m running for US Senate in Wisconsin to defeat Republican Senator Ron
Johnson.

Here’s one reason why: After Ron Johnson claimed for years that he wasn’t
a climate change denier, a video surfaced this week of him showing his
true colors -- calling climate change "bullsh**" last month to a roomful
of supporters.

[ [link removed] ]See for yourself. You can check out the secretly recorded video here.
Then, chip in $3. $9, $17, or more to defeat Ron Johnson.

This type of weaponized science denial can’t be coaxed back into reality.
It must be defeated.

[ [link removed] ]Help us do that by chipping in $3, $9, $17, or more now so that we can
get this message in front of voters across Wisconsin today.

Let me be clear: the climate crisis is the greatest threat to life on our
planet. It is on our generation to lead the charge in stopping the harmful
effects of man-made climate change.

We are seeing it in the heat wave in the northwest, the increase in
hurricanes on the east coast, and in the extreme weather all across our
country.

Here in Wisconsin, the drought we’ve been dealing with has put us on track
for the worst fire season in more than five years. With 821 wildfires
burning through 1,941 acres, we know that this is a real and worsening
problem. This, just 3 years after devastating floods caused millions in
damage to our ag community.

We can do better and we will. And you know what? We’re not alone. 73% of
registered voters in Wisconsin want Congressional action on climate change
and 77% support investments in clean energy jobs. We already have 69,343
of our WI neighbors working in the clean energy sector. We can build on
that by pushing Congress to pass Biden’s American Jobs Plan into law and
pushing forward with the Green New Deal.

The PCCC helped me beat a climate change denying incumbent to win my state
senate seat 10 years ago. [ [link removed] ]Together, we’ll do it again.
