To further Indiana’s economic investment and business development, Governor
Holcomb made an economic development trip to Qatar. Along with Secretary of
Commerce Chambers, meetings were held with Qatari officials to advance
innovation, investment, and job creation in Indiana. This visit was a huge
success and stride forward to strengthen Indiana’s global connections.

[READ] New Regional Little League Headquarters Opens in Whitestown, Indiana

Governor Holcomb helped cut the ribbon at the opening of the new Little League
Central Region facility that has been three years in the making. The 15
acre-facility houses the Central Region Headquarters administration building
and also includes a gift shop, concessions stand, batting cages, and a
full-size Little League field.

The new Fire and EMS station in Warrick County is a needed upgrade for the
community that began construction last year. The station also includes a new
storage facility to house equipment and supplies. “This is quintessential
Indiana. Problem solving at its finest,” Governor Holcomb said.

During his recent economic development trip abroad, Governor Holcomb took the
time to visit the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. He was able to catch up with U.S.
troops serving our nation, including members of the Indiana National Guard and
enlisted Hoosiers. 

 

Infrastructure investments. Economic advancement. Connecting with Hoosiers at
home and abroad — Governor Holcomb is committed to the future of Indiana.
