The GOP is launching election audits into swing states. We can’t let this sham continue.
GOP state legislatures across the nation are considering “election audits” in key swing states. Democratic Attorneys General are fighting back, but in swing states like Arizona (which has an open seat in 2022!) we need to elect Dem AGs who will lead the charge.
Republicans won’t stop reviving The Big Lie, friend.
Months after President Biden’s certified victory and the deadly attack on our Capitol, right-wing officials have already launched bogus “election audits” in Arizona and are still trying to launch them in swing states like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
In Pennsylvania, one pro-Trump lawmaker is spearheading this effort with millions of taxpayer dollars to keep the myth of “election fraud” alive. These bad-faith efforts not only put the personal, private information of voters at risk – but they also shake the very basis of our democracy.
Pennsylvania has already completed two legal, bipartisan audits, both of which confirmed Biden’s victory by more than 80,000 votes. So this latest GOP probe is a paper-thin sham to undermine the public’s faith in our democracy and the legitimacy of our votes – at great personal cost to our communities.
When our nation should be moving forward – toward healing, toward repair, toward equity – the GOP is trying to keep us planted in their disorder and chaos. We can’t let these efforts prevail.
