The new census numbers are in, and it’s exactly what we feared. States like New York, California, Illinois, and Michigan all lost Congressional seats — which means that some Justice Democrats could be redistricted out of office.

The powerful political establishment controls redistricting in New York and other states: the corrupt political forces that AOC, Jamaal Bowman, and other Justice Democrats are fighting against. The political establishment and their corporate donors are already pouring in to try to defeat Justice Democrats, who are the loudest voices in the fight for Medicare For All, cancelling student loan debt, racial justice, and for an economy that works for everyone.

We know that the establishment could use everything in its toolbox, including control of partisan redistricting commissions, to maintain the status quo. Will you rush in a contribution so we can prepare for the fight ahead?
