Tell Congress:
"Stop Elon Musk’s union busting by passing President Biden’s American Jobs Plan, including critical protections for working people."

John,
If passed, President Biden’s American Jobs Plan will do more than create millions of good-paying jobs and invest in our future. It will also fight the climate crisis while cracking down on union busting.
Here’s how:
Included in the president’s proposal is a tax credit for manufacturers of electric vehicles, so long as they are made in America by workers in jobs with good wages and labor standards.
The problem is the biggest name in electric vehicles doesn’t just use non-union labor -- he's been fined by the National Labor Relations Board for violating labor laws that prevent union busting.
That’s right: Elon Musk is a union buster.
We know union workforces mean better wages and safer working conditions. Unions would give workers a voice when, for example, management forces a Tesla factory to re-open during a pandemic without proper safety precautions.
Unionized car makers like Ford and General Motors can qualify for this tax credit, potentially giving them an advantage over Tesla, unless Musk stops his union busting.
Sign the petition demanding Congress pass the American Jobs Plan, including protections for U.S. workers. That’s how we stop Elon Musk’s union busting!
The American middle class was built through a decades-long battle for labor rights, championed by labor unions. From fair pay and benefits to the 40-hour work week to overtime pay, we have unions to thank for the worker protections we enjoy today.
But that hasn’t stopped corporations and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce from attacking and undermining labor unions through so-called “right to work” laws in states across the country. We must fight back!
Join the Coalition on Human Needs and our national allies in demanding Congress pass the American Jobs Plan and include protections for working people that both address the climate crisis and strengthen workers’ rights and wages.
Thank you for fighting for working people in the face of relentless attacks and union busting.
