Record Number of GOP Women Planning Run for Congress
WSJ: More Republican Women Plan Runs for House, Building on Party’s 2020 Wins
“This cycle, 127 Republican women already have indicated they plan to run for House seats, either filing with the Federal Election Commission or announcing plans publicly, the National Republican Congressional Committee told The Wall Street Journal’s Aaron Zitner. That’s more than double the 50 women at about this point in the 2020 cycle and a record for this point dating to 2010. The success of Republican women last year is one reason that a large field looks to be shaping up…”

E-PAC Endorsed Candidate Update
After raising and donating over $1.1 million for GOP women candidates in the 2020 cycle, E-PAC is off to a strong start in 2022: Since this January, E-PAC has already raised and donated over $350,000 to GOP women candidates.
E-PAC is now 2 for 2 in Primaries in the 2022 cycle. Elise’s early endorsement of Susan Wright marked the second E-PAC endorsement of the 2022 cycle following Julia Letlow’s decisive victory and the historic success of electing Republican women in 2020.

With the July 27th Special General Runoff Election fast- approaching, Susan Wright, a GOP activist and wife of late U.S. Rep. Ron Wright, continues to gain momentum! Following the key endorsement of President Trump, Susan recently received the endorsement of Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
Elise provided critical support in the primary, and she continues to back Susan in the runoff. To date, E-PAC has raised Wright an incredible $70,000, but we’re not done yet. We’re working hard to hit our goal of $75,000. Will you help Susan Wright across the finish line by rushing a donation?

On The Campaign Trail
Celebrating the Fourth of July
From New York, to Florida, to Iowa, GOP women across the country took to the parade trail in their districts to celebrate freedom this Fourth of July. Team Elise enjoyed participating in the “Best 4 th in the North Parade” and the “Willsboro 4th of July Parade” with freedom-loving families in North Country. We are blessed to live in the greatest country on Earth!

GOP Woman of the Week
This week’s GOP Woman of the Week is Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22).
Protecting Seniors: Elise recently joined Congresswoman Claudia Tenney to help introduce the Essential Caregivers Act to protect residents of long-term care facilities.
Following corrupt New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s negligent nursing home policies, this legislation would secure better access to designated essential caregivers so that they can raise issues and make decisions about the care of their loved ones. Read more about Claudia’s work here.
Protecting law-abiding gun owners: Claudia is leading 168 U.S. Reps in filing a brief supporting a challenge to NY’s law that makes it nearly impossible to carry a gun outside of the home for self-defense. Elise is proud to support Claudia’s efforts to overrule this unconstitutional “law” and urges the Supreme Court to allow New Yorkers to protect themselves! Read more here.
