Apologies for dropping into your inbox again, but I just had to reach out. I'm closing in on my grassroots fundraising deadline – and I have some bad news. As of 1 P.M. I'm falling short of our goal. So I'm coming to you personally, friend:

We have a real chance to win and protect our Democratic Senate majority, but Marco Rubio is already attacking me. And with Mitch McConnell and GOP outside groups likely to pour millions into Florida to prop up Marco Rubio, I must hit my grassroots fundraising goals. 

My fundraising numbers and the strength of our grassroots movement are key to winning in Florida, so I've got to ask: Will you make a contribution of $5 or more to help me flip Florida blue and expand our Democratic Senate majority?
