John, My name is Mamadou, but you may know me as Junior Niintche Diakhaté on social media. I am a teacher in Senegal, where we were all affected by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the education of our children. So during the lockdown, I launched an initiative to renovate schools in the hope of giving them a new soul. We launched a small fundraising campaign on the internet – and thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised millions and renovated 18 schools throughout the country! But Senegal is not the only country to be impacted by the education crisis. All over the world, millions of children don’t have access to quality education. In a few weeks, world leaders will gather for a major international conference on education. I have just signed ONE's petition calling on them to ensure quality education for all children, whether they live in Dakar, Lagos, Paris or New York. We need everyone's support, please add your voice now: |

All over the world, ONE supporters like you are mobilizing right now to support this campaign and allow millions of children to realize their dreams. Join our fight and ask governments to act! Here is the text of the petition:
I was fortunate to go to public school and university. Through my commitment to education, I am trying to give something back to this nation that has given me so much. You too can do something today. Thank you. Junior Niintche Diakhaté and the ONE team Click here to watch a short video about my action. |
