The Women’s and Fair Practices Departments are proud to officially announce our Self-Paced Training Modules!
These Modules will allow you to participate in our informational trainings at your leisure to learn more about WFP, the federal laws that provide employees with EEO Protections, the EEO Protected Classes, EEO Process and Timelines, Theories of Discrimination, Burdens of Proof and Remedies available.
WFP’s Self-Paced Training Modules, with the different topics covered, are available through the links below:
About WFP: This module covers the work of the Women’s and Fair Practices Departments, our program areas, and the work of the Human Rights Committee.
EEO Protected Classes: This module covers the federal laws that prohibit employment discrimination and the various protected statuses covered by federal law.
EEO Process and Timelines: This module covers the EEO protected basis, the difference between informal and formal complaints, and the timeline for the federal EEO process.
EEO Theories: This module covers the five theories of discrimination and the type of discrimination that falls under each theory.
EEO Burdens of Proof: This module covers the burden shifting process, including how to prove discrimination has occurred, establishing prima facie within an EEO Complaint, and addressing the Agency Legitimate Non-discriminatory reason through Pre-Text.
EEO Remedies: This module covers the various types of remedies available and the types of monetary and nonmonetary damages for an EEO Complaint.
