John, In the early morning hours of June 24, tragedy struck when a condominium complex in Surfside, Florida collapsed with hundreds inside. The immediate response from first responders running toward danger resulted in numerous individuals being rescued. From the very first moment, we’ve taken every possible action to rescue and recover victims, and to support their families. In the subsequent days since the building collapsed, help and aid has come to the Surfside community from every part of our state, all around the country, and even across the world. We cannot thank these heroes enough for all they have done and all they continue to do.
