Chairman’s Dinner on 10th July 2021 Postponed - Rothley Court Hotel



Dear . Sadly, the great Covid panic has struck again and I must regretfully and somewhat frustratedly inform you that our lovely dinner at the Rothley court hotel scheduled for the 10th of July has had to be postponed due to the sheer incompetence of the shambolic Government!



Only last week the Hotel has assured us that the event was fine but had to reduce the numbers, fine  we thought but today they have confirmed that this is not the case and until we get the full go ahead in a fortnight only weddings and wakes are ‘allowed’!



Therefore, I apologise for all the trouble caused and ongoing frustration but sadly I have very little influence on this gang of incompetents masquerading as a Government, therefore all we can do is to re-schedule a date in the very near future. 



We had block booked rooms, but I know some people had booked privately, you need to cancel these, and I have spoken to the Hotel so you will not suffer and cancelation penalties. Obviously, we can also refund you but would ask you merely leave as is and then you are all paid up for the event when it is rescheduled soon. This decision is up to you entirely, but we would appreciate your assistance in these shambolic days.



Fear not, we shall meet and dine together, and I can’t tell you how much I look forward to this and NORMALITY returning. In the meantime, You can contact me at [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>
