Hi John, I hope you enjoyed some time off this past holiday weekend. Here at Golden HQ, we were excited to share that we reached our Q2 quarterly fundraising goal -- thanks to this team of grassroots supporters!

• Cosponsored and voted for the For the People Act.
• Led a group of over 100 House members to successfully push House leadership to hold a vote on the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act.
• Supported LGBTQ Mainers by cosponsoring and voting for the Equality Act.
• Voted in support of the American Dream and Promise Act which would provide a path to citizenship for Dreamers.
• Pushed to guarantee equal rights under the law regardless of sex by supporting the continued rights of states to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA).
• Supported the bipartisan Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) to make headway on addressing domestic violence.
• Pushed to reduce the pay disparity between men and women by voting for the  Paycheck Fairness Act.
• Introduced the bipartisan Rural Education Investment Act to help address teacher shortages in rural schools.
• Fought for rural small businesses by introducing the bipartisan Disaster Assistance for Rural Small Businesses Act.
• Supported Maine logging careers by sponsoring the bipartisan, bicameral Future Logging Careers Act.
• Worked to ban corporate PAC spending by introducing the Ban Corporate PACs Act.
• Introduced legislation to repeal Authorizations of the Use of Military Force (AUMFs) from 1957, 1991, and 2002.
• Among other efforts.

Jared has proved time and time again that in Congress, he fights for us -- not powerful corporate interests.

And that’s exactly why the GOP is pulling out all the stops to defeat him. They know Jared’s vote can’t be bought, so they’ve already spent almost $1 million to put misleading attack ads against him in front of as many ME-02 voters as possible.

My job is to make sure we have a plan to combat these attacks, and that means building the resources and the platform we need to take Jared’s message directly to voters and share the good work he’s been doing on behalf of our district.
