Solutions Needed at the Border

Dealing with the latest surge of migrants from Central America requires us to better understand who is trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border so we can address the underlying causes of migration that are stressing our immigration system, Holly Kuzmich, Executive Director of the Bush Institute, wrote in a recent Dallas Morning News op-ed. She advocated taking action on both comprehensive immigration reform and border security – including creating a better system for asylum seekers and those trying to obtain temporary work visas.
