Dear John,

As NOW celebrates our 55^th year of grassroots activism, I want to also celebrate you—and all the other generous feminists who stood with us for the last 55 years and continue to stand with us for the next 55.

As you know, NOW always works on multiple fronts to address the most urgent issues we face, but this is an extremely critical time for us. We’re fighting back against hundreds of bills introduced in federal and state level legislatures to limit abortion care, restrict voting rights and perpetuate systemic racism and discrimination.

In Washington, we’re mobilizing the grassroots strength of NOW members to ensure that legislation supported by the overwhelming majority of the American people makes it through a narrowly divided Congress. Thanks to grassroots support from people like you, we can continue our work in defense of reproductive rights and justice, economic justice, ending violence against women, racial justice, LGBTQIA+ rights and constitutional equality.

I’m so proud of the NOW community for rallying behind us during this campaign.

So thanks again—we couldn’t have come this far without you.
