Next Thursday, 90 percent of families will receive their first monthly cash payments of $250 to $300 per child with the expanded Child Tax Credit. These payments are expected to cut the child poverty rate in half this year — and it’s thanks to your support electing the Democratic majorities that passed the American Rescue Plan.
