England v Italy Euro 2020 final

It really could be coming home! We're backing England to come out on top in the Euro 2020 final against Italy, this Sunday 11 July. Kick off is at 8pm with the match expected to finish around 9:45pm.

The city is expected to be much busier than usual with large crowds of fans expected in Old Market Square. There will be a large police presence in and around the city centre.

Friar Lane at the junction of Spaniel Row will be closed to all traffic from 9:30pm until crowds have dispersed.

There is a possibility that public transport will be affected with moderate to severe delays. Please bear this in mind if you are planning on travelling and, if possible, use alternative options such as walking and cycling, or avoid the area, particularly around the match end time.

Our top public transport travel tips:

* Use contactless payment methods where possible
* Wear a face covering, even after Monday 19 July when restrictions ease
