Dear John,

This year, more than ever, our parks and green spaces have been a vital lifeline to so many of us during lockdown with around 9 in 10 people surveyed by Natural England in 2020 agreeing that natural spaces are good for mental health and wellbeing.

We are pleased to announce that our annual Love Parks Week will take place 23rd July – 1st August 20021. The campaign is supported by the players of People's Postcode Lottery.

Love Parks Week provides a moment to send a rallying cry: Love, Respect, and Protect our parks throughout the summer of 2021 and beyond.

Help protect our parks

We know that to protect parks, we need a policy at the highest level. And so, in 2020, we established our Parks All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), consisting of MPs who care passionately about and will advocate for parks and green spaces.

The more members we have signed up to the Parks APPG, the more we can hold the government to account and influence this agenda.

Help us protect parks, and write to your MP to ask them to join our parks APPG.

Respect Parks Code

We’ve developed a simple code to explain how visitors can respect their local park.

If you want to help us spread this message, and ask others to write to their MP, you can download our Love Parks 2021 social media guide and content using the button below.
