John, this is a longer email about why Ohio desperately needs change. I hope you’ll stick around through the whole thing and consider chipping in $3 when you get to the end.

Ohio is making headlines, John -- and not in a way you might like.

I don’t know about you, John, but I’m tired of our state being counted out because of our incompetent leadership.

Because let’s be honest here:

This is what happens when Republicans control every single level of state government and 12 of our 16 seats in Congress.

Frankly, I’d like to see an Ohio making headlines like these:

“Ohio ranked top of the pack in job creation”

“Paid family leave ensured for all Ohioans”

“Union membership at an all-time high in Ohio”

There’s only one thing keeping us from that in Ohio: Failed Republican leadership.

I want my daughter to grow up in a state where she can thrive -- where all of our families can thrive -- and that is why I’m running for Congress.

We can make this much-needed change, John, but I need you with me from the start.
