Last week, the Supreme Court’s 6-3 conservative majority voted to uphold two of Arizona’s discriminatory voting restrictions, disproportionately affecting voters of color. That’s right, the highest court in the land just gave the greenlight for Republican-held state legislatures across the country to pass more discriminatory bills that disproportionately affect Black and Brown voters.

Republicans are framing these new laws as “protection against voter fraud” in alignment with Trump’s Big Lie that the 2020 election was stolen from him — but we all know the truth, it’s voter suppression plain and simple.

Tammy is fighting her heart out to protect our democratic institutions from these right-wing attacks, but it’s clear Mitch McConnell and his allies aren’t up for the job — just last month Senate Republicans blocked the For the People Act in the Senate without so much as even a debate.

Now, we must use every ounce of energy we have to stop Republicans from further destroying our democracy.
