Dear Friend,

Register now to join us for “The Power of Courage,” a conversation with
activists Dolores Huerta, Nadya Okamoto, and Aria Sa'id on July 29, at
5:30 pm, a fundraising event to benefit Courage California!

We will be speaking with Huerta, a living civil rights icon, and
changemakers Okamoto and Sa'id about what we can accomplish with the power
of courage as we stand against fear mongering and unjust policies sweeping
the state and nation. This virtual event will support Courage California's
ongoing work and fight for equity and justice for all Californians.

California is the home of insurrectionists and recalls, as well as the
proving ground of progressive movements and policies. What we do now in
California matters, especially as we continue to battle for the soul of
the state and nation. With the power of courage, we can protect our
democracy and our diverse communities from the recent surge in white
supremacist-fueled attacks and disinformation and fight for a California
that works for all of us.

[ [link removed] ]REGISTER HERE NOW to reserve your spot. Please note that this is an
exclusive event and to attend you must register before July 25 or while
space is available. There are a limited number of tickets. For questions
or concerns, contact Molly Watson at [email protected].

ASL interpretation will be provided by Pro Bono ASL. More information to
come next week! We look forward to having you join us on July 29!

In Solidarity,

Molly Watson and the Courage California team

Courage California (formerly Courage Campaign) makes sure our democracy works for ALL of us by fighting corruption in California politics. We believe the solution lies in exposing and solving systemic problems through strategic organizing, enhancing coordination between progressive organizations, and mobilizing civic engagement from our communities, particularly voters of color, young voters, and self-identified progressives.
