For the past several weeks, we’ve been dealing with wildfires blazing across
our state. The Deep Creek Canyon, Crooked Creek, and Robertson Draw fires have
collectively burned over 45,000 acres and continue to burn today.
These fires are not Governor Gianforte’s fault, but the frequency and
intensity of these fires seems to be leaping every single year due to the rapid
acceleration of climate change, something that Gianforte has ignored both when
he was a Congressman and now as Governor.
He has an all-time League of Conservation Voters score of 7% and seems utterly
uninterested with addressing the root causes of what is setting our state
ablaze with increasing frequency year after year.
Montana is a state of natural wonders and beauty. We need a governor who
understands that and wants to protect it. Help us replace Gianforte with a
Democrat by chipping in $10 to the Montana Democrats today.
