Since winning majorities in 2019, Democrats in Virginia have led the South and the nation by passing popular, progressive policy priorities that are long overdue. When Democrats vote, Democrats win, and when Democrats win, the people of our Commonwealth and nation win. Our leadership in the House of Delegates, State Senate, and Governor's mansion have already implemented incredibly important legislation including (but not limited to):

Raising the Minimum Wage
Expanding Voting Access and Rights
Ending the Death Penalty
Legalizing Recreational Marijuana
Banning No-Knock Warrants
Implementing Mandatory Background Checks on All Firearm Purchases

Democrats in Congress are leading the national push for many of these same priorities. The House has already passed bills to expand voting rights, make DC a state, raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour, and enact criminal justice and gun safety reform.

All of these bills are overwhlemingly popular with the American public and would improve millions of people's lives. But they're all being blocked by the filibuster. Progress can't wait any longer.
