On July 5, 2021 human rights activist Fr. Stan Swamy, S.J., died of complications from COVID-19 in Mumbai, India while in custody of the Indian government, after months of calls for his release.
"Fr. Stan became a keeper of conscience and awakened hope in everyone,” said Fr.
