THEN: He admitted ON VIDEO that the state he represents is going to get a
huge influx of relief money from the Democrats’ American Rescue Plan. And
he kindly added that not a single Republican voted for it! Why not, Mitch?

It’s clear: Mitch McConnell has no interest in helping the working people
of this country. So, why are Senate Democrats giving McConnell veto power
over our popular and urgent agenda?

NOW: Senate Democrats must immediately end the filibuster and take power
away from McConnell’s minority. It’s the only way that we can pass a big,
bold, transformative agenda for economic, social, racial, and
environmental justice. It’s the only way that we can DELIVER for the
people.

Republicans have already blocked the creation of a January 6 Commission to
investigate the deadly insurrection. They did it to protect fellow
Republicans like Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. McConnell also blocked the For
The People Act, a historic voting rights bill that we need ASAP. They did
that so state legislatures across the country can keep passing dangerous
voter suppression laws.

Some critical legislation may not even get a vote in the Senate because of
the filibuster! The House has passed bills like the Equality Act, gun
safety legislation, the PRO Act, the DREAM Act, D.C. Statehood, and so
much more that is stuck in the Senate because Democrats won’t end the
filibuster.

It’s time that we take power away from Mitch McConnell: [ [link removed] ]Chip in

the filibuster and deliver transformative change in this country.
