Hi there.

I had to make a very difficult decision yesterday.

Right before our ad budget meeting, we found out that a Dark Money Super PAC is going up on the air with negative, misleading attacks about Nina. It became clear that we’d need to significantly up our ad spend because we can’t let these nasty, misleading ads go unchecked.

The money wasn’t in the budget, but I gave the green light anyway.

There is no doubt that it was a risky call, but ballots are being cast right now, so we can’t wait — we have to respond right away.
