When We All Vote John,
Throughout history, young folks have been one of the strongest voices in fighting for social change. From marching the streets and working alongside legislators to voting and running for office, young people have always been instrumental in pushing social change forward.

This week marks the 50th anniversary of the 26th Amendment. Signed into law on July 5, 1971, the 26th Amendment lowered the voting age from 21 to 18.

But this didn't happen overnight. As 18 year olds were being drafted for the military, they were refused their right to make their voices heard at the ballot box. Young people across the nation marched in the streets during the Vietnam War, fighting for their right to vote. Their advocacy and the civil rights movement led to the 26th Amendment.

Even as we saw youth voter turnout increase in the 2020 elections, young people still face barriers to making their voices heard. When We All Vote is dedicated to celebrating the 26th Amendment everyday by changing the culture around voting and increasing voter participation among the youth in every election.

Our work is not possible without your support. Can you chip in $10 to support our efforts to bolster youth voter registration and turnout? [[link removed]]

As we face coordinated attacks used to decrease voter turnout, When We All Vote is committed to fighting back, commemorating the 26th Amendment, and ensuring the ballot box is accessible to all -- today and every day.
Supporters like you are essential to decreasing the barriers young people face when voting. If you can, chip in now and support our efforts.
