Special Olympics founder Eunice Kennedy Shriver left a powerful, lasting legacy—her heart lives on in the smiles of all 6 million of our athletes. For more than half a century, millions of people’s lives have been changed forever by a woman who insisted to the world that they were just like everyone else.
