Hi Friend,
Greg Abbott’s special legislative session starts today in Texas. And what that means pretty much boils down to one thing: Republicans couldn’t get enough of their terrible bills passed during the normal legislative session this spring, because Democrats and advocates blocked them. So they’ve added extra time to their calendar at the Capitol -- in order to keep attacking Texans.
Will you chip in right now to help Texas Democrats fight back?

Yesterday, Greg Abbott finally let Texans know what’s on the agenda for the session, and it’s not pretty. He’s going to keep gutting our abortion access, keep making it harder for Texans to vote, and keep putting trans kids in danger.
The one thing that isn’t on the agenda? Fixing our grid so that another power outage disaster like February’s doesn’t happen again.
Friend, Greg Abbott has failed all of us. You know it, and I know it. He refused to do his job and keep us safe in February. And for the last six months, he’s refused to take any real action to fix our grid. Abbott just keeps reminding us that he doesn’t care about Texas families. And it’s only a matter of time until the power goes out again.
There’s one way to fix our grid and keep Texans safe: defeat Abbott and elect Texas Democrats. From now until the 2022 election, we’ll be fighting with everything we’ve got. We can’t do it without you. Will you rush $7 to our Fix the Grid Fund today?
