Friend,
For far too long, we’ve let America’s infrastructure decay as the rest of the world advances.
That’s why I was proud to help pass the
INVEST in America Act through the House last week. This game-changing legislation includes almost $550 billion of new investment in our infrastructure, and the Senate should move forward as fast as possible.
If you agree that our country needs investment in bridges, roads, water, rail, and transit infrastructure, add your name here to ask the Senate to pass this critical bill!
This package contains an impactful $23.7 billion in aid to New York over the next five years.
With these funds, our state would have the opportunity to rebuild our infrastructure in a way that will give everyone access to the transportation they need to be full members of our community.
The multiplier effect of good infrastructure is important, because folks without access can’t participate in the economy and make contributions critical to growth. This effect will be felt across the country, which is why the Senate can not afford to delay.
Friend, will you join me in urging the Senate to move forward with new infrastructure funding?
Onward,
Jerry
