I couldn’t wait to share this news with you.

In our very first fundraising quarter, our campaign was able to raise a whopping $2.28 million thanks to the generosity and hard work of supporters like you.

Hitting our biggest goal to date out of the park is one thing, but that’s not the only reason for celebration. THIS is what’s really impressive:

96 percent of the contributions we received were less than $100. Our average online contribution was just under $27. We received donations from all 88 counties in Ohio.

Our mission to cut workers in on the deal is bringing together a grassroots coalition like never before. Our public FEC report will send a powerful message to Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, and all of their dark money allies that we have the support we need to flip this seat and expand our Democratic majority in the Senate.

But we can’t take our foot off the gas. As soon as national Republicans see the strength of our numbers, they’ll get to work to mobilize their ultra-wealthy donors and ramp up their efforts to take us down.

This is just the start. I know that this team has what it takes to face whatever comes our way.
