The Way Forward

Today, we released the last episode of our new limited series podcast, The Way Forward, on the extraordinary success of assisted outpatient treatment in Ohio!

The four episodes covered the history and aims of AOT, showed you how to start an AOT program in your home town, brought listeners into an AOT courtroom and finally, shared success stories from AOT graduates.

“Ohio has effectively implemented many active AOT programs and has successfully cared for some of the most vulnerable people in their state. We praise Ohio’s judges, advocates, medical officials and AOT staff for working so tirelessly to help those who cannot help themselves," said Lisa Dailey, acting executive director of Treatment Advocacy Center.
