Dear Friend,

Did you see yesterday’s headline from CNN?

Republicans consider dividing up Nashville district to gain US House seat

And from POLITICO:

Republicans weigh ‘cracking’ cities to doom Democrats
“Nashville is perhaps the city that Republicans are most likely to splice among a few districts, seriously endangering Cooper’s hopes of reelection.”

Nashville deserves its own voice in Congress, not four radical Republicans who won’t care about our needs.

These backroom deals are happening now, and if we don’t push back, we’ll have a terrible, gerrymandered map that Nashvillians will have to suffer for at least a decade.

You know me. I fight for Nashville. Whether it’s for greater access to heath care, voting rights, or our world-famous music industry, I know what will make and keep Middle Tennessee strong.

Leadership matters when we’re up against Republicans who will sink to the lowest of lows. That’s why I need your help.

Gratefully,

Jim Cooper
