Last week, the House of Representatives voted to create a select committee to investigate the January 6th Capitol insurrection and to figure out how to prevent a similar event from occurring again.

Elise Stefanik voted against it.

Elise has disappointed us again — and has provided another blatant example of how she is too extreme and too dangerous to represent the North Country. That’s why I need your help to defeat her. →

Even the police officers protecting the Capitol — some of whom were brutally beaten by the mob — have pleaded for Congressional Republicans to take the investigation seriously. But members like Elise remain firm in their position to support Donald Trump at all costs.

I know the people of the North Country. This is a community deeply committed to knowing the truth, doing what’s right, and respecting our country. When Elise Stefanik puts lies above truth and tribalism over patriotism, she insults our values and disrespects our democracy.
