Democracy for America, a member-driven grassroots organization dedicated to powering progressive change, has been with Ilhan and our movement since day one.

DFA knows that we won’t keep the House majority and bring about bold, progressive change by playing it safe. We need leaders like Ilhan to hold the Democratic Party accountable in delivering on our mandate for transformative policies that young, Black, Indigenous, and people of color voted for last year.

But Republicans and even some Democrats are determined to silence Ilhan and get in the way of our progress. They would rather stick with the status quo that has left so many people behind than pass policies like Medicare for All, universal school meals, and bold climate action.

That’s why it’s so important that we have the resources to hit the phones, knock on doors, and invest in our communities — we need to show them that our movement isn’t going anywhere.
