Team —

Earlier this year, Scott introduced two critical pieces of legislation to improve San Diegans’ energy reliability and make our oil and gas industries greener than ever before.

Scott’s METHANE Act and POWER ON Act will decarbonize our energy sector while updating our power grids to be safer, more reliable, and most importantly, combat climate change. San Diegans deserve reliable, clean power that will improve our country’s economic competitiveness and reduce our carbon footprint.

We must send a loud and clear message that we need these bills to become law immediately. Improving our infrastructure isn’t just a San Diegan issue — it’s an American and global issue, too.

Just this past week, record-setting heat waves made their way across the country, further highlighting the need to modernize our power grids and get methane out of our atmosphere to reduce Earth’s temperature. To keep our communities safe and our planet healthy, we must make the necessary improvements to our infrastructure.

Sign the petition today to send a message to Congress: Pass the POWER ON and METHANE Acts immediately! → [[link removed]]
